In Biology lessons, we look at the needs of the plant. Which seeds can fly or float? Can a plant live without air, soil or sunlight? How do their leaves move to catch sunlight, and roots grow towards water? Can a seed be carried by an animal? And many more questions are answered together.

At the gardens of Meise we will follow a workshop called ‘Seeds, Plants for the Future’. Together we will also visit the people and plants area and walk barefooted along the ‘Amaze Your Feet’ path. We will collect pleanty of information for us to use back at school for our studies about the importance of plants for people and animals, and the many interdependencies involved.

The International Montessori School offers a thoroughly prepared and beautiful learning environment, supporting the complete development of children and students from the ages of 1 to 18.
