Holiday Camps
Easter and Summer holiday camps are organized for children aged 2 ½ to 11 and cover a full 5-day week from 9:00 to 17:00 hrs. These camps are available for families who are enrolled at the International Montessori school. Each camp consists of a different and interesting weekly topic that involves the indoor and outdoor environment.
Sign up forms are available every year from January onwards.
Activities
The days are filled with stimulating and creative activities, including: arts and crafts, nature walks, geography, history, botany, games and sports, music, outdoor play, and cooking.
Cost
The cost is €265 per child per week and is payable upon registration. The fee includes all materials, snacks and (cold or hot) lunch. There are no additional costs.
The number of camp Guides is in accordance with the number of children enrolled and therefore the fee is non-refundable. The camps usually fill up quickly and registration is accepted in order of enrolment.
Green spaces
The school gardens make up an important part of the environment. As much as possible and weather allowing, the various activities take place outdoors, also making full use of the playground equipment and nature itself.
Locations
The International Montessori campus: Hof Kleinenberg is a historic farm situated on its namesake ‘mountain’, dating back to 1651. It is very suitable for holiday camps as it has a large playground area, veggie gardens and hothouse, fields with ponies and chickens and a courtyard for outdoor activities and lunches.
The International Montessori Hof ten Berg campus is situated 500 meters from ‘Hof Kleinenberg’, and is another original historic farm dating back to 1750. The walled gardens offer a secluded play area and a courtyard for games and outdoor meals. The gym hall is nearing completion and can be used for rainy days.
International Montessori School Rotselaerlaan is situated in two adjacent villas with a beautiful playground, carpentry and gardening facilities. Its cozy outdoor area includes a hothouse, veggie garden, chicken coop, rabbits and an area for outdoor games. It is very close to the beautiful Tervuren Park, which is regularly used for walks, games and nature activities.
