Progress Report Meetings
Report Day
In your child’s classroom
Friday 6th of December
From 8.00 onwards – individual time slots No school for the children
Two times a year, teachers prepare a written Progress Report for every child. The child’s progress is discussed during the Report meeting and parents can take a copy of the Report home afterwards. A Progress Report is a culmination of the work done up until that day. Teachers can also show materials used, thus explaining how the child moves from concrete experiences to abstract understanding.
A sign-up list will be available at your child’s school for you to book a time slot. Could we advise all parents with children aged 1 1⁄2 to 11 to organize a child minder or play-date during this meeting time?
Secondary students from Year 4 onwards can come with their parents to the report meeting and contribute to the meeting and reflect on their own learning.
